Krause is seeking an entry-level Interior Designer with 0-3 years of experience. Key Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and manages work ensuring delegated tasks and expectations are clear and met.
Receive and follow instructions for project assignments.
Perform specific portions of architectural assignments under direct supervision.
Establishes, maintains, and documents regular project-related meetings, including client, internal team, and consultant meetings.
Document changes to architectural drawings as directed.
Assist in construction administration including responding to RFI’s, preparing sketches and addendum’s (CCD’s), visiting the construction site to gather information and/or preparing a punch list.
Proactively keeps staff informed of work states and seeks clarification where appropriate.

Create graphics and research information for inclusion in marketing proposals and materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from an accredited United States University.
Experience of Interior Architecture professional experience in the commercial corporate and medical field such as summer, co-op and intern work in AE.
Regular participation in a cause outside of Architecture that is important to you and the community.
Fluency and confidence using Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
On-the-job experience using Revit to produce construction documents.
Proficient in all MS Office and Adobe Suite Software Applications.

Position Overview:
This is a senior position, requiring at least 8+ years of experience working at an interior design, architecture, or related design firm. Project Managers manage complex and multiple projects, responsible for the execution of project design solutions under the direction of the Principals/Owner; They must have the ability to lead project design teams and delegate work in a timely and constructive manner. Project Managers have a thorough understanding of the contract requirements and project scope as well as the firm at large; they are responsible for project schedules and budgets and can effectively convey this to both assigned team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Consults with clients to determine function and spatial requirements, prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
Plans layouts of projects and integrates engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval.
Leads project design teams and ensures proper management flow for all phases of active projects, including management of budget and schedules.

Communicates with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out, including technical issues and project information, at all levels of contract administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited United States University.
Eight plus years of experience in Design Management in professional commercial interior design or architecture, including corporate/tenant office interiors.
Fluency and confidence using Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Suite software applications.
Demonstrates knowledge and proven ability in design, furniture selections/specifications, applicable codes, QA/QC process and construction documentation, construction administration, and with the newest technology.
Demonstrates ability to manage and lead all levels of staff through a combination of direct authority and subject matter expertise.
Proven ability to write and negotiate contracts for services, consultants, and contractors.
Proven ability to solve contract and administration issues within the established design context.
