Connect4 Humanity is a biannual philanthropic project of IIDA, the International Interior Design Association, created to support local 501(c)(3) non profits through renovation projects. With the generous support of volunteers, donors, and community partners, it unites the four Southwest City Centers in Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson. Each City Center partners with a local non profit to design and deliver meaningful transformations that improve facilities and services while fostering collaboration across the design community.

The mission of Connect4 Humanity is to provide an avenue for the Southwest design community to give back, pool resources, and revitalize spaces that create lasting positive impact. Connect4 Humanity transforms physical spaces, strengthens community connections, and inspires meaningful change.

Each City Center forms a dedicated committee to manage the project. The committee collects non profit nominations from the community and selects an organization to support. Designers, students, and industry partners then collaborate to define the project scope, plan the design, and secure resources. Projects are brought to life through careful teamwork and the generous contributions of volunteers and sponsors, culminating in a hands on Build Day and a final celebration that reveals the completed renovation.
