Tucson is an Inspiration for Design Professionals:
Tucson, Arizona, known as “The Old Pueblo,” is a close-knit community and home to indigenous and diverse cultures. Surrounded by natural beauty, historic landmarks, art, and architecture, Tucson offers design professionals inspiration to create environments to support people while they work, live, learn, or heal.
A Feast for the Creatives…
The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show including its associated shows held throughout the city, is a major annual attraction that generally takes place in the first two weeks of February. This is the largest such exposition in the world, attracting over 50,000 visitors. It is a feast for creatives and collectors, where unique finds, furniture pieces, and distinctive accessories enhance the interiors and exteriors of designed spaces.
The Tucson City Center strives to be the resource that inspires a dynamic connection within the commercial design community by providing networking opportunities, continuing education programs, and events that bring our diverse members together. We value “giving back to our community” by supporting local non-profit organizations and more. We enjoy working together to promote connections between design professionals, industry partners, and students among all our City Centers to collectively create a positive impact on the IIDA Southwest Chapter’s design community.
