IIDA Southwest Student Design Charette 2022

Update: IIDA’s Local Student Design Charette is now offering sponsored sign-ups for IIDA student members who have not yet entered the competition. The first 5 student members to reach out to the Student Affairs team will get their ticket paid for by our generous event sponsors.

Entry has also been opened to students who are not current members of IIDA but still wish to participate. The ticket cost is $40 per student for non-members and $25 for student members. This includes travel and hotel stay for the winning team to the regional competition. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on the day of the event.

Interior design students from all of the Southwest chapter campus centers join together and are put on teams where they are challenged with a design problem and are given the day to design a solution. The final product is judged by a panel of jurors and a winning team is selected to continue to the Western Regional Design Charette out of state and get a chance to compete for a grand prize trip to NEOCON. This is a great extracurricular resume builder or portfolio project.
