About Us

The Southwest Chapter of the International Interior Design Association consists of Arizona, New Mexico, and Las Vegas. With over 350 members of all levels, the Southwest Chapter continues to strive to further strengthen our existing City Centers and develop a new City Center in Albuquerque.

Our chapter hosts many networking opportunities for professionals as well as student members. These opportunities include Continuing Education events, forums, Habitat for Humanity Build Day and Fundraiser, Design Excellence Awards (P.R.I.D.E.), and Un-Veiled (formerly Trade Fair). By participating and attending these events our members are developing and strengthening our local core of professionals in the Interior Design Industry.

Chapter Awards

Each year International asks individual chapters to participate in their Chapter Awards. Awards are given in ten categories as well as Chapter of the Year. The awards encourage IIDA chapters to develop and maintain excellent community service, educational, Forum and fundraising programs, to increase membership, to develop quality publications and graphic design, and to create Chapter activities that enhance the profession at the local level.
